Draining the Swamp

Since you are reading this blog you are probably either a politically conservative American or a liberal American looking in on fellow Americans that politically think opposite from you.  If you are the former, you are pretty upset with the craziness in Washington D.C. that is keeping the political agenda you voted for to be unleashed and implemented.  Subsequently I am certain you are desperately upset with Congress for not yet fulfilling President Trump’s promises if/when he was elected President, and you are quite certain there’s only one reason why that has not begun:  the Political Establishment that still has a choke-hold on the U.S. Government.

Everyone heard then candidate Donald Trump constantly lead the crowds at his campaign rallies in his now famous promise, “We are going to Washington to DRAIN THE SWAMP!”  No one — or very few — did not understand the meaning of that statement.  Almost all of those who attended his rallies were of the mindset that Washington is indeed full of all the things that make a swamp dangerous, messy, dark and scary, and full of evil critters of every ilk imaginable that need to be removed from the D.C. Swamp.  The easiest way to do that is to “DRAIN THE SWAMP.”  I came across the following that resonated with me and I sincerely believe it will also resonate with you.  It describes what that “drain the swamp” processes really is and what it involves.  It comes from Michael Master (author of Save America Now, Rules for Conservatives, The Birth Famine).  Please enjoy the read.  And I’d love to hear your comments afterwards.

                                                                         DRAINING THE SWAMP IS MESSY!
Our home is in a community of 2,000 homes located on the intercoastal in North Carolina.  Everything lives here.  Alligators. Water moccasins.  Rattle snakes.  Sea hawks.  Egrets.  Giant blue heron.  Mosquitoes… blood sucking mosquitoes.  We’ve watched from our back porch as dolphins chased sail boats and motor boats up the intercostal and watched the moon rise over the ocean to cast its glow over the intercoastal.  When the community decided to drain the swamp in the center of the community, it was a big deal.
Draining the swamp was messy.  The swamp was about 10 football fields, about 6 feet deep, with lots of creatures living in it.  It was a dangerous swamp.  Not one that you would walk or swim.  You would not dare sit next to it in the dark of a moonless night.  If not the snakes, then the mosquitoes would eat you alive.   As the water level decreased, the creatures were exposed.  As the water level disappeared, all that was left was 3 feet of yucky black mud and the roots to dying cypress trees.  The fish, snakes, frogs, rats, and birds were all stranded in the yucky mud.   Those creatures of the swamp fought for their lives as the swamp disappeared.  The fish flopped around in the black mud looking for some water for life.  The frogs croaked incessantly all night while their young pollywogs were stranded lifeless at the top of the black mud.  Snakes slithered in every direction in the black mud in search of food.  The rats that live in hollows all along the water abandoned their nests while the birds that feed off the swamp creatures also abandoned the area.    Finally, the mud dried out.  No more snakes.  No more rats.  No more fish.  No more frogs.  No more mosquitoes.  And no more birds that feed off those creatures of the swamp.
That same thing is happening to the political swamp in America.  Trump is draining the swamp.  His picks for his cabinet are all swamp drainers.  Yeah, 3 are from Goldman Sachs.  3 of 23.  Practically all of his cabinet have executive experience (military, or government, or private sector) .. and it is the executive branch, now isn’t it?   The mud is becoming visible as all the creatures who live in the swamp are fighting for their lives.  Government employees at the IRS, EPA, and Education are flapping in the mud like dying fish.  The lobbyists are slithering here and there looking for government funds like the snakes in the mud … especially those who wrote Obamacare.  The liberal media cartel is chirping and croaking  all the time like frogs trying to reverse the draining.  The tax and spend politicians are dying off like the blood sucking mosquitoes.  The political appointees of Obama are fleeing DC for other jobs like the birds who lost their meal tickets.  And the information leakers like Comey and Lynch are looking for new places to nest like the rats that left the swamp.  Soon, all that will remain will be the dying institutions like public education as the dying cypress trees of our society.  Everyone who lived off the swamp is praying for rain.  Election rain so Democrats might win some elections from Republicans since the Democrats suffered such horrible defeats during the 8 years of Obama.  Impeachment rain so the professional politicians can get rid of Trump as the swamp drainer.  Low approval rating rain so the media can claim they were correct about Trump.  Virtual rain, fake rain, so pundits can claim that Trump is not making any progress even though the results say the opposite.
Draining the swamp is messy, muddy.  But the mud will soon dry.  Democrats just lost special elections in Arkansas and Omaha after sinking millions into them.  Democrats might grab an election here or there in places like Georgia where the demographics are changing to black communities, but not without millions and millions of campaign money … and Democrats cannot afford to do that for all the elections in 2018.  Democrats must defend 23 Senators in 2018 as compared to 10 for Republicans and Democrats must win 25 seats in the US House from Republicans and then win back 900 state legislative seats and 14 governorships.  If Georgia is an example, that will cost Democrats hundreds of millions to try.  SCOTUS will be rendering its decisions about Trump executive orders just before the 2018 elections … and more than likely, SCOTUS will rule against the Obama appointed judges who live in the lower court swamps.  SCOTUS will help Trump.
Comey is gone.  Lynch is in trouble.  Clinton is back in trouble.  The Clinton Foundation donors are talking.  Clapper and Yates both said that there is no evidence of collusion between Trump and the Russians.  Schumer is gasping for rain like one of those stranded fish.  His Republican swamp buddies like McCain will abandon him as he dies … a rat leaving the swamp even though they shared an apartment together.  His Wall Street swamp buddies cannot help him.  The Washington Post and The New York Times and CNN and NBC are all trying to seed the clouds.  But none of it is producing enough rain to help Schumer stop Trump from draining the swamp.
Draining the swamp is loud.  Listen to all the hysterical liberal media cartel who are trying to make it rain in order to save the swamp where they live.  Chanting.  Lies.  Rain dances.  But no real rain is coming.  Only fake rain.  The swamp will soon be dry.  And when it is, then the next task to make America great again.

Jared Kushner: a Russian Hack

Russia, Russia, Russia.  That’s pretty much all we’ve heard in the media the last 90 days.  No good accomplishment in Washington at all matters:  major job creation, reducing U.S. debt dramatically, cutting southern border illegal crossings by 70%, hundred of arrests for child trafficking, marked improvements with multiple foreign leaders, a House passed repeal/replacement plan for Obamacare that will give Americans marked premium reductions with a huge decrease in the budget deficit — NONE of this matters.  The only two things that matter (especially to the Alt Left Media) are that Russian intervention stole the presidential election from Hillary and Donald Trump did in his campaign and since being in the White House have surreptitious ties to the Russian government.  Media hacks disregard that “if” the Russians actually leaked Hillary’s emails, that’s all they did.  I am certain that those emails did make a difference in the election, but only in that Americans from reading the content of those emails saw the “real” Hillary and disliked her enough for many to decide to vote against her.

The second Russian issue according to the Media is White House ties to Russia.  No matter that for six months every conceivable intelligence Russian specialist in the CIA, FBI, DNI, and NSA have been trying to stick a fork in that slithering “truth” about Russian ties to the Trump camp and have not found any.  They now have “proof” (from an unnamed source no less) that Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner initiated setting up back-channel communications between the White House and the Russian government.  The impeachment drums are sounding again.

“Back-channel communications:”  what are they?  Since the media began quoting once again those “unnamed sources” who accused Kushner of speaking to the Russian ambassador about setting up this type of communication with members in the Russian government, it has been reported that such communications are common.  National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster and Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly publicly supported Jared Kushner over the past two days in relation to Kushner’s reported pre-transition back-channel discussions with a Russian Ambassador, and another meeting with a Russian banker close to Putin. Trump son-in-law and foreign policy adviser Kushner allegedly proposed to use Russian diplomatic facilities for communications with Russia, ostensibly to ensure secrecy. Kushner made his unusual proposal to Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, in a meeting attended by former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn at Trump Tower on December 1 or 2.  Kushner’s back-channel proposal reportedly surprised Ambassador Kislyak.  But Kelly said such back-channel communication “doesn’t bother me” and “is a good thing.”  McMaster said he was “not concerned.”

But the words of two retired U.S. military generals mean nothing to the Alt Left Media.  I am pretty certain that McMaster and Kelly have fundamental understanding of what is reasonable and acceptable for White House communications with foreign governments — a much more credible and unbiased understanding than do the media.   But to the media’s credit, would it not be fair to simply accept their premise that anything to do with Russian connections with the U.S. Government is suspect?  After all, this is the first time in U.S. history that any president has had (or attempted to have) such back-door communications access to Russia and other foreign governments, right?

On a day in early December, one of Moscow’s agents in the United States, working undercover as a journalist for Izvestia, reported a private meeting with the president-elect’s “closest adviser.” The adviser, who met privately with the Russian spy, was frank and hopeful about a significant improvement in relations from the previous administration. He “stressed that was not merely expressing his personal opinion but the position of the future president.” The two men met alone and there was no American record made of the encounter.

This is not a report about Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, whose activities during the transition are now being investigated. Nor it is about Jared Kushner, who, the Washington Post reported, approached Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak last December to propose a secret communications channel. The meeting described above took place in 1960, and the “close adviser” was the incoming president’s brother, Robert F. Kennedy. It is not unusual for the Russians to want to establish contacts with an incoming presidential administration, especially when there is tension between the two countries. It is also not unusual for an American administration to use back channels to probe the intentions of adversarial powers.

A year and a half of secret, back-channel negotiations between Cuba and the United States led to an exchange of prisoners in 2014 and the official opening of diplomatic relations between the two nations. The negotiations were conducted by two of President Barack Obama’s national security advisers and a small Cuban team.   In August 2014, Michael Ledeen, a former consultant to the National Security Council and U.S. Defense Department, wrote a column stating Obama opened a back-channel to Iran during the 2008 presidential campaign. Ledeen said the back channel went through retired Ambassador William G. Miller, who also led the 1979 negotiating mission during the Iran hostage crisis. Ladeen wrote that Miller confirmed his back-channel involvement to him.

Ledeen wrote:  “The actual strategy is detente first, and then a full alliance with Iran throughout the Middle East and North Africa. It has been on display since before the beginning of the Obama administration. During his first presidential campaign in 2008, Mr. Obama used a secret back channel to Tehran to assure the mullahs that he was a friend of the Islamic Republic, and that they would be very happy with his policies. The secret channel was Ambassador William G. Miller, who served in Iran during the shah’s rule, as chief of staff for the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and as ambassador to Ukraine. Ambassador Miller has confirmed to me his conversations with Iranian leaders during the 2008 campaign.”

Even prior to that, Back Channel to Cuba, written by Peter Kornbluh of the National Security Archive and William LeoGrande of American University, claims that every U.S. administration has had some kind of secret diplomatic dialogue with Cuba since President Kennedy in 1963. Declassified documents have revealed secret meetings all around the world — in airport lounges, restaurants, and hotel rooms, and in locations as far flung as New York, Paris, and Guadalajara — between Cuban and American officials.  President Richard Nixon was also a big fan of back-channels for communicating with more hostile foreign governments like Russia and China in moments of crises. He even employed an informal committee to engage in these kinds of communications, known as the Washington Special Action Group.

I’ll stop here without going into the dealings of then Secretary of State for Obama Hillary Clinton who in her official capacity approved the sale of 20% of the U.S. supply of uranium through a Canadian company to a Russian company owned by the Russian government and under Putin control and that officers of that Canadian company subsequently donated tens of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation and Bill gave multiple speeches in Russia for several millions of dollars — this in spite of Obama’s insistence (and Hillary’s agreement in writing) that the Clinton Foundation would accept no foreign donations while she was Secretary of State.

So, every President since J.F.K. has had back-channel communications with Russia and other foreign countries.  That list includes Lyndon Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush 41, Bill Clinton, Bush 43, and Obama, according to reports from “Named” sources.

I’ll accept the criticism of back-channel communications between the Trump White House and Russia if (and only if) the Alt Left Media will level the exact same charges against the presidents listed about, AND throw in the obviously due charges against Mrs. Clinton for her brokering of the uranium deal with Russia.  (Do you think there may have been some back-channel communications between the State Department and the Kremlin during that sale/purchase?)

Americans are beyond weary at the incessant tirade we see and hear daily from the most biased media on Earth and maybe even in World history, led by the Washington Post and the New York Times.  Americans summarily reject any validity of any story from either of these newspapers, any other newspapers, and the cable and broadcast news television networks based solely on “unnamed” or “anonymous” sources.  Americans are smarter than that.

New idea for the Media:  why not report the news instead of making yourselves part of the news?  Wouldn’t that be novel!

In Memory…..

“Freedom is not Free.”  We’ve heard that again and again through the years.  It sounds pretty hollow to some.  But to others:  not so much.  Those are the ones whose family members have paid in part the price for our freedom by giving their lives.  While we are at the lake, cooking out, playing golf or bicycling, visiting loved ones on our day off, let’s pause for at least one moment and say, “Thanks” — thanks for all of those who gave their lives and for those who were left behind who together paid (and many are still paying) that price.

A number of years ago I sat with my father-in-law in the Pearl Harbor WWII theater watching the movie presentation of the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor 75 years ago. It was gut wrenching to say the least. After the movie, we all boarded small boats for the short jaunt out to the Arizona Memorial in the Harbor. As we stood there looking down into the water, droplets of oil and air bubbles popped at the surface. The oil and air came from the Arizona down below where a couple of thousand valiant Americans are entombed, left there forever.  Thousands of men and women gave their lives in that “War to end all Wars” that didn’t end all wars.  But there are today still thousands of men, women, and children whose loved ones paid that price in places all over the Globe to protect and maintain the freedom in the greatest country in World history.  Most would do it again if they were asked to.

“A Soldier Died Today”

Memorial Day is to give us pause to consider and honor those who gave their lives in military service to keep the United States the most powerful nation on Earth.  There are many who said “Yes” when the question was asked “Who will go?” that are still with us but whose days are numbered.  Monday is actually Memorial Day.  But I think in light of the sacrifices made by those who gave their lives for our liberty, we can give them an extra day of honor.  So let’s start today.  Today as we honor our fallen heroes can we pause just a moment to honor those who willingly went, fought wars along side those who did NOT make it back, are still among us, but who are not long with us?  They are “living” Memorials of those battles.

Watch and listen to this story with me.  Remember that every day we lose champions of freedom who won for us on the battlefields of history the right to be who we are today.  They did not die in that struggle but came home to live ordinary lives just like you and me.  Their lives may be ordinary, but they certainly are NOT ordinary.  May God be with the men and women who put it all on the line for freedom.

Privilege

Privilege is without question one of the most misunderstood terms today.  And that misunderstanding is not new — it’s been with us for generations.  It is strange that in a nation that is founded on the principles of fairness, equal rights, and equality, there is more dissent about privilege than in almost any other nation in the World.  The cries against privilege became deafening in the last decade or so led by louder and louder cries against racism — real and perceived.

The controversies of privilege were placed front and center in America with the election of the first black President.  Many African Americans as well as white Americans hoped desperately with the election of Barack Obama that the concept of privilege — social, economic, ethnic, and political — would be put behind us.  Sadly that was not to be in spite of attempts early in his presidency to push that plan forward.  Not only did it fail, it failed miserably.

Why?  Privilege is not the same and does not evolve from the same origins in every country.  Social and economic factors as well as historical events amid varied cultures within each nation weigh heavily on the realities of privilege.  While running water and separate bathrooms are considered standard in most countries, in others only the most privileged citizens enjoy those luxuries.  A college education is taken for granted in Country A while in Country B a young person’s attending college is a rarity — a result of privilege reserved for only a few.

In the U.S. in the last few years, privilege has been confused with entitlement.  That happening has really muddied the realities of social, racial, economic, ethnic, religious, and national status for many.  Because of the massive misunderstanding (or misinterpretation) of privilege, an alternate thought process has not only taken root, it has rapidly taken over the mindset of millions of Americans.  It is “entitlement.”  Entitlement is defined by Webster as belief that one is deserving of or entitled to certain privileges.  By that definition, the mindset of entitlement has caused large groups of Americans to draw proverbial lines of separation between their groups and groups of other Americans simply because of those sometimes real but sometimes only perceived feelings of unfair inclusion in specific groups.

There are many dangers associated with these feelings and the creation of subsequent groups even if they exist only through perception.  People STILL make decisions — often life-changing decisions — based on those perceptions.  Example:  animals often show a proclivity to accept perception as reality.  We’ve all seen the mother cat who adopts an orphaned piglet as her kitten.  She treats it as hers:  nurses, cleans, includes it in everything with her biological kittens.  That piglet really feels it is not just “A” kitten, but “her” kitten.  As a natural feeling from those circumstances, that piglet feels entitled to the same rights and privileges as those kittens.

Here’s the danger of this in today’s America:  “Perception IS reality.”  What do I mean?  In many cases in life, human beings meet people in various social settings.  When that initial meeting and subsequent meetings happen, both people draw conclusions about the other based on conversations, shared life details, social and economic settings, etc.  Unfortunately many times those conclusions are not factual.   Without really “knowing” someone, it is impossible to be certain about that person’s real character and how it is comprised.  But human nature always takes over and guides us to judge that person based on our perceptions.  (Remember:  “perception IS reality”)  That usually includes placing that person into a pre-determined group with others we “perceive” to be like them.  We make decisions based on our perceptions of who those people are and what they think, whether or not our perceptions are correct.  Too often our perceptions based on inaccurate thoughts force us into an entitlement attitude, especially when we feel that person is better off, smarter, more attractive, more privileged than we are.

Today’s best example may be that of Surgeon and current Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Ben Carson.  Dr. Carson grew up in rank poverty in Detroit, trapped in all of the negative circumstances that accompany pretty much everyone that grows up in poverty in Detroit.  His mother — Sonya — had just a third grade education, and as a devout Christian person prayed diligently for Ben and his brother Curtis to get good educations.  Ben had a voracious hunger for knowledge that drove him to graduate high school with honors and entry into Yale where he pursued a degree in Psychology.  He then went to University of Michigan and saw his interest change from Psychology to Neurosurgery.  After medical school he found himself at John Hopkins in Maryland where at age 33 he became the youngest physician to ever head a major department at John Hopkins.  He became the director of pediatric neurosurgery at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institution, a position he held from 1984 to 2013, and a professor of neurosurgery, oncology, plastic surgery, and pediatric medicine.  In 2013 he left to pursue politics as a presidential candidate in 2015-2016.

That’s quite a success story.  But yet there are many Americans who bear anger and resentment for Dr. Carson:  he’s a sellout, a “Uncle Tom,” the White Man’s token,  a medical Token Black, a racist, and on and on.  Even though he served at John Hopkins for 30 years with an exemplary record as a neurosurgeon, many in the liberal community summarily reject any and all of his personal and professional successes because they have relegated him to be part of a group of people who became who and what they have become for one reason and one reason only:  privilege.  Ben Carson is African American.  African American young men who grow up in Detroit cannot possibly achieve the successes in medicine as did Ben Carson unless…..unless…..unless.  Unless what?  They are privileged and because of their privilege they are able to step to the front of the line, take short cuts, get a pass, break all the rules, etc.  Their successes cannot possibly come from hard work in school and diligence in their chosen professional field.  And that rule applies even more to Dr. Carson because he is black.

The conundrum today in which Dr. Carson finds himself is exacerbated because of our first African American President.  The hatred by many for Carson is because Barack Obama is an extreme left-leaning liberal while Ben Carson is a very conservative non-political American.  Obama had marginal at best educational success, a very sketchy professional career before running for state office in Illinois and then his short tenure in the U.S. Senate.  He has no traceable childhood story remotely comparable to that of Carson that documents amazing self actualization, pulling himself out of a sure fate of failure common for most poor black Detroit adolescents.  Ben Carson never had privilege in any area of his life.  And he was fine with that.

Dr. Carson is being lambasted by the liberal lefties simply because he used realistic comparisons for some Americans that liberals find politically “incorrect,” especially since he is African American.  “I think poverty to a large extent is also a state of mind,” Carson said in a SiriusXM radio interview with Armstrong Williams, a top adviser to Carson’s 2016 presidential campaign. “You take somebody that has the right mindset, you can take everything from them and put them on the street, and I guarantee in a little while they’ll be right back up there. And you take somebody with the wrong mindset, you can give them everything in the world, they’ll work their way right back down to the bottom,” the neurosurgeon continued.  The former GOP contender also referred to a “poverty of the spirit” and a “wrong mindset” that can develop from inadequate parenting and a negative environment.

How dare an African American in such an important position as Secretary of HUD say something so outlandish!  It makes no difference to the Left if what he said is true.  All that matters is that he is ignoring the “fact” that in the communities of poor in the U.S., those caught there are there because of the privilege of others that have forced those poor to stay where they are.  Of course that is not fair, because their being poor is not of their doing and they are therefore entitled to privilege.

Of course not all think that is so.  But isn’t it obvious that many on the Left today feel that if anyone from a minority community works their way to a point of success in whatever endeavor they choose, the only reason they get there is because they somehow cheated the laws of Privilege and Entitlement?  While on the opposite end of the spectrum, millions of American do not ignore their foundations, but choose to take the best of their foundational circumstances and through hard work and selflessness create and/or find opportunities they can parley into successes in their life using what they have learned.  We all know people who are born privileged or live in privilege because of circumstances that benefit them that they had no input into.  Some of them build from those and find amazing successes.  Others turn out worthless with nothing to show for their early privilege.  Then there are those who start with nothing and horrible life circumstances, (like Ben Carson) who find ways through hard work to pull themselves to the top, while they watch others who come from the same exact environment who stay in that place for their entire lives and finish with nothing to show for their life’s work.

Privilege has no color, no ethnicity, no racial or religious tone.  Privilege comes from a multitude of circumstances that are usually uncontrollable — at least at inception.  Entitlement comes from a skewed perspective of life reality and is almost always a product of putting oneself in a group and looking across the city or neighborhood or school playground and seeing others that perceptually are put in a separate group.

It’s not how we start….it’s how we finish.  We will always finish well if we will keep this thought in mind as we make our life journey:  “Don’t let where you are today define who you are.  Where you are today is simply one stop on the road to where you are going.”

The CBO gives Americans Good News

The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) today released its audit analysis of the recently passed in the House replacement bill for Obamacare.  The news outlets have already jumped all over it and are pointing out everything that could potentially be negative about it.  It is not surprising that the “glass is half empty,” and I have not yet heard any media outlet say one positive thing about it, including Fox News.  Without MY analysis, here is the Fox News report:

“A congressional audit released Wednesday concludes the House’s recently passed ObamaCare overhaul bill will increase the number of uninsured Americans by 23 million but will reduce the federal deficit enough to keep the lower chamber from having to vote again on the legislation.  The much-anticipated nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office report also found the House bill will lower premium costs for less coverage. The bill will reduce the deficit by $119 billion over a decade, primarily because of its cuts to Medicaid and private insurance subsidies.  The GOP-controlled Senate will now craft its own version of an ObamaCare overhaul bill.”

So in that story by Fox News, what are the “glass is half empty” assumptions?  “….will increase the number of uninsured Americans by 23 million….”  Sound positive in any way to you?  It is absolutely incorrect to make that statement.  What the bill actually does is change the insurance status of those 23 million who are now currently in Obamacare Medicaid.  They will NOT lose their insurance.  They as patients will be moved into the state Medicaid programs funded by block grants to individual states and will be paid from there rather than directly from the Federal Government.  They will NOT lose their insurance!  (Wouldn’t it be a little more literal to have explained it in the Fox News story that way rather than in the way they did?)

The “good” stuff in the House bill is all obvious:  lower premium costs; reduce the federal deficit by $119 billion over 10 years; eliminate private insurance subsidies.  Not much in the story about that — just a casual mention.

What was not mentioned in the story (and will probably be lost in all the news coverage of this CBO financial analysis) is the fact that Obamacare has cost $1 trillion MORE than originally anticipated.  That’s not a small mistake.  And who has paid those losses?  Not the government.  The government has written the checks for that amount.  But those checks were drawn on YOUR account.

In summary:  it is mind boggling that lawmakers in D.C. keep and operate the finances of our country using the most screwed up budgeting process imaginable.  I’ve written about this before, but maybe you did not see it, so I’ll remind you of the structure of that process.  The federal government uses a process called “baseline  budgeting.”  Baseline budgeting uses current spending levels as the “baseline” for establishing future funding requirements and assumes future budget needs will equal the current budget times the inflation rate times the population growth rate.  Twice each year the CBO looks at actual revenues and actual government spending and actual population and inflation growth and uses those numbers to make future projections.

But here’s the rub:  our government doesn’t explain this to Americans in any discussions, budgeting information released to the public, or in Congressional debates.  In fact they go out of their way to protect the built-in increases in spending simply based on this process.  Let’s create an example for understanding:

It costs $100 this year for cleaning supplies for the Pentagon.  Next year’s budget for the same supplies will be 100 + (100 x 1.13 % (2016’s population growth rate)) + (100 x 1.14 % (2016’s inflation rate)) or $102.27.  In this budget process, the actual cost for the cleaning supplies, whether or not they can be reduced, will remain the same, or increase in price is NOT considered at all!  At your house, you would try to redo the cleaning supply plan to find the same or similar supplies 10% cheaper if possible.  Not the federal government.  They don’t care!

The real irony here:  If Congress chose to budget next year $100.50 for cleaning supplies for the Pentagon ($.50 MORE than this year’s budget amount), liberals would scream that they were having to cut the budget, even though in OUR world that would save Americans money, reducing the budget by $1.77.  It’s called “baseline budgeting.”  But in my world we call it “Budget-speak.”

Baseline Budgeting was created in the Congressional Budget Act of 1974.  You may remember that was the year that Nixon started as President and Gerald Ford finished as President after the Nixon resignation.  It will come as no surprise to you that both Houses of Congress were controlled by a large Democrat majority.  Congressional Democrat leaders had been trying for years to lock up the budgeting process in this baseline process.  They achieved this biggest boondoggle spending process primarily because of the American public’s outcry against Republicans because of Watergate.  GOP party members in the House and Senate virtually “gave” their votes to the Dems because of the anti-GOP public sentiment due to Watergate.

Do not be too quick to place the blame on liberals for this process.  Remember:  several time since 1974 the House and Senate have been under GOP control.  During those times Congress under Republican leadership could have changed budgeting back to “cash accounting” and done away with this ridiculous budgeting process.  But Congressional leaders and their members really like the built-in spending opportunities to virtually hide spending increases from the public, thereby avoiding unnecessary election battles.

How many times during House and Senate elections in your state have you heard spending cuts and budget cuts mentioned or discussed?  Have you ever one time heard baseline budgeting mentioned or discussed?  I doubt it.  The bottom line is the American public has pretty much given Congress a pass on spending increases.  And in doing so “WE” have piled up $20 trillion of debt with $100 trillion more of “unfunded” liabilities, like Medicare, Social Security, and pension fund liabilities guaranteed by taxpayers.

We seriously do not have much time left to get this right.  We need a Congress that looks at money they spend — OUR money they spend — as the last money on Earth.  Every dime that is budgeted needs to be analyzed, discussed, and each and every proposed spending item needs to be released with complete detail to the public BEFORE budgets are approved.

Do you think that will ever happen?

NOT!

Russian Investigation of Election Collusion Results are In!

Yes, the conclusion from reports as results of those multiple investigations into election tampering by the Russians are in.  And they are simple:  there IS no evidence to implicate President Trump, any members of the Trump Campaign, or any other Americans in collusion with the Russians in the 2016 Presidential election that could have possibly changed the outcome of the Trump victory/Clinton loss.  Here quickly are the facts that are uncontroverted:

  1. The Russians hacked various email servers of the Clinton Campaign and the Clinton Foundation, received emails from hackers from John Podesta’s email account, and through various Russian and other media outlets that distributed/published the content of many of those hacked and/or stolen emails prior to the election in November;
  2. The Russians did NOT in any way manipulate actual votes, voting machines, computer hardware or software, destroy actual votes, counterfeit any votes, or in any way keep voters from casting votes in any place in the U.S. or any other place where registered voters could legally cast votes;
  3. In the release of those hacked emails, the Russians did not edit, delete, or add any data, names, or information into or from the emails before their subsequent release;
  4. There is now much distribution of leaked information that is NOT sourced, is NOT accompanied by any type of evidence or documentation or testimony to corroborate the information that was “reportedly” provided by “anonymous” or “unnamed” sources.  Because of that process of information dissemination, none can be verified because Intelligence Officials have no way of carrying out normal intelligence confirmation processes.  The term “reportedly” is used in the previous sentence because there is NO way to confirm any such information was actually provided by those anonymous and unnamed sources.  It is very possible NO such information was provided by anyone to those who released information as being factual.

The results are in!  After months of name calling, “he said, she said,” “I read a memo that said….,”  THERE IS NO EVIDENCE!  But there is horror and irony here:  although the United States Constitution guarantees everyone to be innocent of any charges until proven guilty, and since in court proceedings in the U.S. a defendant has the right to face those that have testified or presented evidence against them, in this case innuendo, empty and unsubstantiated claims, “facts” offered up by unnamed or anonymous sources to reporters, have been plastered across cable news national broadcasts, major American newspaper front pages, internet blog and news websites, and even nighttime entertainment talk shows, nothing in the collusion claims has been proven.

This process has been created and implemented to do one thing and one thing only:  bring down the President.  And so far it seems to be working.  After all, everyone knows there is no way Donald Trump could beat Hillary Clinton straight up in an election.  There had to be cheating — collusion of some sort.

More irony?  Not one of the HRC supporters will even give one second’s thought to the possibility that Americans really did NOT vote for Hillary BECAUSE of Hillary.  Yes, her emails were distributed throughout the nation.  Yes, she, the DNC, Podesta — none of them wanted their emails out there.  Why?  They were ashamed of one thing:  the content of those emails!  Prior to the email dumps, Americans saw one Democrat National Committee.  They saw one Hillary Rodham Clinton.  When they read those emails, they realized behind the scene there was one DNC on tv, one Hillary Clinton on stage, and one of each that is entirely different when the lights went out.  And Americans don’t like the ones that came out of the darkness with the release of those emails that showed who the real DNC, HRC, and Podesta are.  If that was Russian collusion — releasing emails that contained the truth about a candidate and a political party — then there WAS collusion.

In today’s House Intelligence Committee meeting with former CIA Head John Brennan, Congressman Gowdy asked if there is “evidence” to Mr. Brennan’s knowledge of any Russia/Trump collusion.  He stated he saw no evidence.  Senator Dianne Feinstein of the Senate Intelligence Committed said she has seen no evidence of collusion.  Fired FBI Director James Comey under oath stated he has seen no evidence of collusion by the President or his campaign committee.  I’m at this point:  (quoting Cuba Gooding Jr. from the Movie “Jerry McGuire),” “SHOW ME THE MONEY!”  Everyone needs to simply be quiet for now:  there’s no evidence.

Unless and until there is evidence produced from sources that have been verified by U.S. Law Enforcement officials to be factual that show collusion (as defined by Federal Law) between Russian persons and Trump Campaign persons or the President himself, THIS CASE IS CLOSED! (Collusion:  “secret or illegal cooperation or conspiracy, especially in order to cheat or deceive others.”)

This IS America, isn’t it?  The U.S. Constitution requires (in criminal cases) evidence to be presented prior to conviction and sentencing, doesn’t it?  How have so many people been so ready to jump on what amounts now to be only gossip, to charge, convict, and sentence the President of the United States?  This is unprecedented in U.S. history.  Americans can not let this process stand.

If laws have been broken, let’s make sure consequences are enforced for all those guilty of lawbreaking.  Other than that:  Innocent until proven guilty.  That’s the law.

Here’s some more “factual” information about Russian collusion findings from FORBES published yesterday (Tuesday, May 23rd):

Deputy U.S. Attorney General Rod Rosenstein (R) leaves the U.S. Capitol following a closed-door briefing with members of the House of Representatives May 19, 2017 in Washington, DC. Rosenstein met with senators a day earlier and was questioned about his role in the firing of former FBI Director James Comey and his appointment of former FBI Director Robert Mueller as a special counsel to investigate Russian meddling in the 2106 presidential election. Where is the evidence of President Trump’s collusion with Russia?

The Wall Street Journal – no particular fan of Trump – characterizes the DOJ charge to Special Counsel, Robert Mueller, as fatally open-ended, vague, and flawed. His instruction lists no federal statutes and invites a fishing expedition into trivial matters. Journalists covering the story appear to disagree on what Mueller is supposed to do: Is he to “oversee the investigation into ties between President Trump’s campaign and Russian officials” or “investigate possible coordination between President Trump’s associates and Russian officials?”

The political feeding frenzy has, to date, brought forth the following facts of Russiagate: Persons associated with the Trump campaign had contacts with Russians, some unsavory. Trump businesses, like other luxury property developers, had dealings with wealthy Russian buyers. Trump did not condemn Putin during the campaign and expressed a hope (shared by many across the political spectrum) of improved relations.

These facts shed little light, if any, on collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian state to throw the election to Trump, as is evidenced by the deafening silence of anti-Trumpists. As Jim Geraghty writes in National Review:

The FBI counterintelligence guys presumably track Russian agents on our soil as much as possible. You figure the NSA can track just about any electronic communication between Russians and figures in the Trump campaign. If there was something sinister and illegal going on…the U.S. government as a whole had every incentive in the world to expose that as quickly as possible.

Diverse figures and outlets agree that the nexus of “possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign” does not include any evidence of collusion. Maxine Waters (D-CA) concedes there is no proof of collusion as does Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) joined by Trump nemesis Lindsey Graham (R-SC). Fox political analyst, Brit Hume, on Sunday’s #MediaBuzz stated that he has never seen a charge get so far out in front of the available evidence over the course of his long career. Matt Taibbi, a left-wing columnist for Rolling Stone who calls Trump the “crazy clown President,” points out that “despite almost daily leaks by anonymous sources, we do not know whether it is about collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian state.”

Follow the Smoke Not the Fourth Amendment

The New York Times, in a lead editorial, counters the lack of evidence of collusion as follows: “The known facts suggest an unusually extensive network (my italics) of relationships with a major foreign power.” The Times’ logic: Trump-associate dealings with Russians are alone sufficient justification for an investigation. Where there is smoke, there may be fire. So, investigate, investigate, investigate until you find something.

The smoke-justifies-the-investigation argument is inconsistent with centuries of common law and the Fourth Amendment’s requirement of “probable cause supported by oath or affirmation.”  Realizing the inconsistency with the rule of law, Deputy AG Rosenstein cited “unique circumstances” and “the public interest” to justify the independent counsel. Taibbi disagrees in a moment of candor. “Liberal thinkers have traditionally abhorred secret courts, secret surveillance and secret evidence” and “reflexively discouraged the news media from printing unverified or unverifiable charges emanating from such secret sources. But because it’s Donald Trump, no one seems to care.”

Terror: At it Again

As of this writing, ISIS has not formally taken credit for the Manchester, England attack at the concert hall.  So far, 22 are dead with 59 wounded.  There are many sobering thoughts racing through my mind tonight.  But let us together pause for a few moments to discuss priorities.

Throughout history there have been multiple horrible events that have happened in numerous countries and cultures that have each given pause to the particular society in which they occur:  wars, mass suicides, genocide, mass murders, earthquakes, fires, hurricanes and typhoons, tsunamis, and all manner of other indescribable travesties in which dozens, hundreds, and thousands of humans have paid the ultimate price.  Little did the concert goers in Manchester this evening think for an instant it could be their last night on Earth.  Yet for at least 19, that remote possibility played out.

Our President is in the second leg of a trip to the Middle East and Europe and just completed two days in front of 55 Muslim nation leaders from whose countries almost all Islamist terrorism is birthed, and made a case for the Islamic world to take control of destroying ISIS there instead of allowing ISIS to spread.  The devastating growth of the inhumane scourge of Islamic terrorism that is sweeping every nation with no regard for race, creed, religion, or color, indiscriminately slaughtering thousands must be stopped and eradicated from our World.  He charged those Muslim leaders to take responsibility for devising and implementing that process immediately to stop more Manchester, England attacks.  Ironically the crackerjack American media, rather than reporting and concentrating on the wide acceptance of the U.S. President’s leadership by those Muslim leaders for this daunting task, today concentrated on the Russian story, the numerous investigations that seem to all include the Trump Administration, all of which have as yet no evidence of any wrongdoing.  Oh, and they pointed out Melania Trump refused to hold hands with the President as they disembarked from Air Force One in Israel — such a bombastic and important story.  Meanwhile, 19 died tonight and 59 are wounded by a terrorist attack in England.

But death is not the Islamist sought for end for their ruthless violence.  Their quest is to create fear:  fear among Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus, and World citizens of any ilk not included in those just mentioned.  The fear they spread is a direct result of pure, unadulterated hatred for all those whose thought processes do not parallel those of these militant Islamist terrorists.

So what will it take, America, for our nation to put aside the partisan angst of a bunch of voters who did not get their way in the November democratic election of the U.S. President?  Never mind that a large part of the growth and expansion of ISIS in Libya, Egypt, and Syrians is due to the actions of the “other” Presidential candidate while Secretary of State.  Those actions happened in conjunction with President Obama’s policies that removed a democratically elected leader in Egypt and the arming of Syrian rebels that evolved into ISIS.  Do you think it is time to join together, not as immigrants, Hispanics, Caucasians, native Americans, Christians, Jews, African Americans, or Asians, but simply as Americans with one mind and one accord to together stamp out this terrorism?  Are we ready to give our duly elected officials the support and confidence they need to plan and implement any and all measures necessary to stamp out this terrorism, no matter what it takes?  Or will we continue to sow seeds of anger and divisiveness, hate and disdain, instead of becoming again one nation, continuing the hatred of Americans with “other” political opinions, while ISIS comes to the U.S. to slaughter our children on our soil?

It took Pearl Harbor and the thousands of dead Americans that December day at the hands of the Japanese to pull Americans together to fight one common enemy.  It took sacrifice and togetherness and sharing heartache and loss to find the common thread of Americanism that stood its ground against Hitler that allows us today to speak English instead of German.  It took a President who hated totalitarianism who was willing to stand in defiance at the Berlin Wall and cry out to the Soviet leader to tear down that wall which ushered in the fall of the strongest Communist state in World history.

What will it take now to unite Americans?  We already have 9-11, San Bernardino, Ft. Hood, Boston, and Chatanooga.  How many more Americans must die before we learn that the only way to combat fear is to stamp it out with the truth of true democratic government in which each has an equal voice in all things pertaining to liberty and justice for all in the greatest nation on Earth?

Will we join together or will we wait until Manchester comes to New York, or Austin, or Reno, or Bellingham, or Virgina Beach, or to your town or city?

“God help the families of those slaughtered at Manchester.  God heal those wounded in that attack.  God help and protect the United States of America.  God guide President Trump, all those who serve in his Administration , our Congressmen and Congresswomen and Senators.  Give us all your guidance and sense of truth along with a renewed commitment to support our leaders as one nation, under God, indivisible with justice for all.”

The “Perfect Storm”

I have had for sometime now an uneasy feeling about our entire national political process. Most Americans were looking forward to the changes expected with the Trump Administration. And early results and accomplishments on the jobs and foreign policy fronts have far exceeded expectations.  But the cloud of allegations that plagues this Administration has muted the joy of accomplishments of the Trump White House for many Americans.  Today I spent some time analyzing the rain of claims against the President, trying to determine sources and causes for these mounting charges.  And you know what I realized?  They each originate from media sources that are never quoted and are all always anonymous.  Of course the fact that media outlets originate these stories precludes checking story sources because their competitors and others are unable to prove or disprove those sources.  Why would any legitimate news organization allow the publishing of stories that contain unproven information?

Think about it:  if your desire is to de-legitimize a President, what could be easier than manufacturing stories, presenting them as factual but from unnamed sources, which gives you carte blanche to present lies as truths?  No one can check the source.  And in doing so, the Media has created a political “Perfect Storm.”

No reasonable person can argue that the National Media members were not embarrassed the night of the 2016 election when they each had to on national television declare Donald Trump the next U.S. President.  They were ashamed, heartbroken, in disbelief, angry, and all swore to get even.  How could Donald Trump steal the election from their “anointed one” — Hillary Rodham Clinton?  There was only one plausible explanation for the Trump win:  his theft of the Presidency.  The big question though:  how to get even?

Going into the election they (the Media) knew they were powerful and held the tools to shape the political opinions of most Americans by their reporting, their non-stop jabs at the candidate/now President Donald Trump.  They knew that John Q public would eventually give in to their barrage of negativism and turn against the brash real estate mogul from New York.  It almost worked in the election.  To get even they turned up the heat a notch and added a few extra tools.  They are now confident they can run this President out of the White House:  one way or another.

But with the Trump election victory, the Media see it as a challenge — not to the Clintons, but to the Media.   They were defeated and suddenly realized they may be losing the one thing they have owned for many years now in D.C.:  Power.  Donald Trump has shown the Liberal Leftists at the NY Times, The Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC that he does not need them to shape the narrative of his political messages to American voters.  He found a way to strategically get that message out to millions without the Media filter.  That infuriated them.  But they knew one thing Trump did not know:  upon his inauguration and occupancy of the White House, he was moving into their territory — a territory they not only know well, they control ALL communications there.  They knew they had him in a trap.  So they hatched their plan.

Their Plan?  To use any and every journalistic trick in the book to catch him and paint him in the light THEY choose, no matter what the realities are.  And, folks, that’s not called “News;”  that is called “Propaganda.”

Propaganda:  “Communications to the public that are designed to influence opinion. The information may be true or false, but it is always carefully selected for a specific effect.”

Have you seen the use of propaganda at the national level recently?  “Communications to the public that are designed to influence opinion.”  Let’s be honest:  much of the advertising we see and hear every day is presented for that one purpose:  to get us to either create or change our existing opinions about things.  Memorial Day is a week away and our televisions and radios are bombarded by “Memorial Day Sales.”  I really don’t need a new mattress, a new car, to paint my deck with a new waterproof stain that comes in 12 different colors, my refrigerator works fine, etc.  But if this is propaganda, we must call it “propaganda lite.”  Propaganda — real propaganda is very different.

Real propaganda was used prolifically in WWII by Adolph Hitler.  If his real desires, real political ideals, real plans for Germany had been known by most Germans in the run up to the war, there is no doubt he would have been summarily dismissed by most Germans as a kook.  He was so smart he knew far in advance how stark fascism was and how tough in its barest form it would be to sell to the Germans.  He stealthily used the German media to roll out his ideals one at a time that each by itself was a much easier sale than trying to put the whole meal on the table at one time.  The German media were the purveyors of his political ideals and they didn’t even realize it.  Most Germans were caught off guard, blinded by Hitler’s true “Germanism” that he sold in a totally positive way.  He never revealed but to a select few what bubbled underneath the spit shine facade he placed on his totalitarian plan that would kill millions of innocents who simply thought he was bringing a new and better ideas to their country.  He was the master of propaganda.

The Media are not who they say they are

For a long time I have been blinded to the purposes of the Leftist media.  I thought for many years they must be mostly of the Democrat Party using their “bully pulpit” to promote the political ideals of the DNC.  And to a degree that is the truth.  But there’s far more to the story.  I thought that certainly the power junkies in the DNC were feeding all of the Leftist, liberal stories to the Press who simply published what they were given, playing the roles of the good Democrat Party supporters they were, giving the DNC an edge getting their message to the public.  That could be the only plausible explanation for the almost glorification we saw from the media and the public for the Clintons and Barack Obama and many liberal causes.  The last eight years have given rise to most of the Left’s causes in public acceptance:  same sex marriage, abortion, open borders, higher taxes and government spending, expansion of government and regulations, reduction in the military, and globalism.  The media were right there with Democrats documenting all of these political moves.

But in the aftermath of the Trump election, it has become abundantly clear to me that I had it exactly backwards:  it is not the Democrat Party who holds the cards and plays those cards when they choose, giving the Media the cards to play at the right times.  Instead it is the MEDIA who holds the cards that gives those cards to the Leftists as the MEDIA chooses them to be played.  And the MEDIA actually makes the plays, not the Dems!

Think about how unbearably difficult it would be for any political party or group to coordinate the people and resources necessary to paint the picture of the landscape of this Administration without there being an everyday mistake that would spoil the picture.  The DNC is in actual disarray with leadership still trying to be set.  Some group of Democrat leaders would have to have daily meetings, discuss and agree on particular messaging content, prepare those stories, and quietly get those distributed to all the media outlets they use to spread their venom.  It would never happen.

Consider the monstrous media infrastructure in place in Washington D.C. that has been built and refined through the years and has every puzzle piece in place to create, distribute, report, and prosecute in-house through one pipeline any story they so choose and as many as they choose to publish everyday.  The Washington D.C. media is a Propaganda Monster that has been living with us for decades.  Its creators are many who all have the same ideas in mind and have found each other.  Together their cause is simple and they are unified:  control the political narrative on every front in D.C.  They have all the tools, all the methodology, all the people, access to all the information to build a political empire or destroy one, whichever they choose.  They have everything they need and have been poised to finish their conquest to totally takeover Washington D.C. and all those there in the government along with every bit of narrative coming from the U.S. government.  They “thought” they have everything they need…..then came Donald Trump.  They were not prepared for him.

They spent 18 months at full throttle doing everything to discredit him: his personal and business life, his lack of political prowess and experience, his pride and arrogance, his political waffling, and his un-electability.  Because of their power, they never gave a thought to his possibly beating not Hillary — but THEM.  He did.  And it has turned their world upside down.

Now Trump lives in THEIR world.  He’s moved away from the world full of the Middle American voters that elected him.  He lives and breathes in the world of Washington D.C. where much is overbuilt, over-described, over-planned, and over-sold, including the socialist ideals they distributed  through Obama.  They were so confident in their abilities they took for granted that sales job, while being bought on the left and right U.S. coasts, had no buyers in Middle America.  Folks living in those zip codes did not buy their mantra.  And they bought Trump’s.

So now what do the Propagandists have left?  They are frantic to get their ideals on track.  To do so, they must get the guy out of the way that has spoiled their victory party.  And like never before, Americans and citizens of every other country on Earth look in daily to watch how the master Propagandists are doing everything they can to “Dump Trump.”  And they are throwing everything they can at the wall hoping there will be something there that sticks and will be the one thing that will end their nightmare.

Folks, it is not the Democrat Party doing this.  It is the Leftist, Socialist Media who have taken over this political creation.  That’s why all of these leaks from the White House are happening.  That’s why two stories — one from the Washington Post and one from the NY Times — were released at the same time, ten minutes after Air Force One lifted off for Saudi Arabia.  All these stories have unnamed sources, no facts, no documentation.  There is no there there!  So what do they give Americans?  Propaganda.  Remember the definition:  “The information may be true or false, but it is always carefully selected for a specific effect.”  The effect they seek?  To get enough Americans to listen to the “story” and not look for the “facts” to emotionally make decisions to accept their “Propaganda” and not wait for the truth.

The REAL American Political Russian Dealers

I,  like 50-60 million other Americans, am infuriated at the treatment of this President by all the Leftists who are hell bent on one thing:  not finding the truth in Russian collusion into American elections, but slaughtering this entire Administration and what Americans elected this President to do —  “Make America Great Again.”  Yes, that slogan is cliche, but the struggles of our nation on the world stage while Americans are slipping into a socialistic atmosphere that is destroying wealth, health, and all things held so dear by generations of Americans are NOT cliche.  They are real.  Freedom isn’t free:  people have always had to die to preserve it from those who would rip it to pieces.  Historically those attacks against American Democracy have come primarily from abroad.  Not so much anymore.  Totalitarianists from within the nation — and from within the Government — are stealthily and steadily attacking not just democratic principles, but those who stand for those principles.  My grandfather would have laughed at anyone who said there would ever be vandalism and rioting in the streets against a U.S. President — especially one who stands for and against what this President does.

Back to the Russian War currently underway in that Eden on Earth — Washington D.C.  For 9 months multiple investigations into Russian interference in U.S. elections have been underway.  And since the moment that NY Real Estate mogul running for President had any chance of defeating “the anointed One,” those Russian investigations have included him.  9 months in which the greatest investigative entities on Earth have exhausted their resources to include Trump in the not-yet-proven Russian election debacle.  As of now — 9 months later — there is no evidence of any Russian interference in election results and NO Russian ties to Trump Campaign members or the President.

But left in the weeds all this time has been evidence — stark and demonstrative evidence — of American government collusion with a multitude of Russian entities including the Devil himself, Vladimir Putin.  Rather than me list all the ties and the names of those involved, I’ll let this young lady tell you about them:

https://youtu.be/UkcxeJCPgz0?list=PLM_tVXBx-AANkszoePvrX0kkS801IqEPg

IF Hillary Clinton was a Republican, IF Bill Clinton was a Republican, IF John Podesta was a Republican, IF Barack Obama was a Republican, IF Eric Holder or Loretta Lynch were Republican, IF CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS were comprised of NOT Republican news reporters and investigators but were staffed by real journalists instead of (on the most part) Leftist media hacks, these stories detailed in the YouTube video would have been plastered on the front pages of every newspaper in the U.S., lead stories night after night on television news broadcasts, and all of the above folks would have been investigated, become subjects of grand jury investigations, and would have been indicted each for dozens of U.S. laws broken dozens of times.

Donald Trump is NOT a Democrat…the U.S. President is NOT Hillary Clinton…that’s why we have what we have.

I find it interesting that former FBI Director Robert Mueller resigned from a prestigious law firm where he certainly was making 7 figures to handle this one simple Russian investigation.  Do you think…maybe…the plan is to (as quickly as the Russian collusion movie is trash canned for lack of facts) move this “Investigator” down the hall to examine some of the REAL Russian collusion discussed in the video above?  I don’t think he’d have too hard a time to find some REAL Russian collusion there.

You know what might work:  if Conservatives would rise up (just as the Leftists did about Trump’s purported Russian ties) and just as loudly and demonstratively demand Mueller investigate the REAL Russian collusion by those in the U.S. Government.  Sadly, I think the only way that will happen is if enough noise can be made to force the Deputy Attorney General to do so just as he did in the current case.  It might work, but it will take a coordinated and well planned process to do so.

Gee, wouldn’t it be wonderful to see the Republican Party stand up, spend some money, and take some significant action other than to get someone elected?  How about keeping a legitimately good President in office who is on the verge of making some real substantive positive change in America?  They certainly don’t mind asking for our dollars to fund their efforts in elections.  GOP, spend some money to get real facts that make a difference!  We can NOT rely on the Media to help.

Those in the  Media do NOT serve Americans.  In fact, historically the Media have served only themselves.  Said Mark Twain:  “Do not fear the enemy, for your enemy can only take your life. It is far better that you fear the media, for they will steal your HONOR. That awful power, the public opinion of a nation, is created in America by a horde of ignorant, self-complacent simpletons who failed at ditching and shoemaking and fetched up in journalism on their way to the poorhouse.”
